Biography

Dr.-Ing. Kuan-Hsun Chen is an assistant professor at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) in University of Twente in the Netherlands. From Aug. 2019 to Aug. 2021, he was a Postdoc at Design and Automation for Embedded Systems group, TU Dortmund University (TUDo), Germany. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the TU Dortmund University with “Summa cum Laude” in May 2019 (Dissertation can be found here). He received his Master in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 2013, and his bachelor degree from the faculty of Interdisciplinary Program of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2011. Furthermore, he received Best Student Paper Award (IEEE RTCSA in 2018) and a Dissertationpreis at TU Dortmund in Dec 2019.
